The Museum of Communication Berlin combines the past and the future in a fascinating setting: The permanent exhibition allows visitors to experience and understand the origins, developmental steps and future perspectives of the information society at first hand. Attractive temporary exhibitions focus on various facets of communication, and the museum's ambition extends beyond the role of a mere exhibition venue - rather, it sees itself as a place for encounters, lively exchange and appealing entertainment. The focus here is particularly on the transformed ways of dealing with signs, codes and media, which in turn entail significant changes in both private and public life. In addition to these modern focal points, the museum also houses an extensive collection of historical artefacts in its treasure chamber, including precious exhibits such as the Blue and Red Mauritius.
