Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler was founded in 2011 by Amadeo Kraupa-Tuskany and Nadine Zeidler. The gallery programme is guided by an interest in art practices that operate outside linear modes of thinking and engage with more speculative, non-hierarchical and hybrid approaches. It is characterised by an international orientation of artists from Eurasia, the Arab Gulf region, China, the USA and Europe. Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler presented the first solo exhibitions of Katja Novitskova, Avery Singer, Andrea Crespo, GCC, Guan Xiao and Yu Honglei (outside of China). All gallery artists are represented in major public museum collections and exhibit extensively in international institutions and biennials. Ongoing intellectual exchanges with the artists on relevant art historical, theoretical and political discourses form the basis for the gallery programme and its activities. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery realises publication projects and organises screenings and discussions with artists and theorists. The artists' impact on current debates about syncretism, digitalisation, the image economy and post-humanist tendencies is manifested in their prominent representation in groundbreaking institutional exhibitions. In September 2017, the gallery opened a new space in Berlin-Kreuzberg, designed by the Berlin-based studio Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge.
