In September 2023, the Berlin branch of the Swedish photography museum Fotografiska opened its doors on 5,500 square metres in the well-known Tacheles building on Oranienburger Straße in Mitte.

From emerging talents to internationally renowned artists, Fotografiska Berlin strives to present works by the world's best photographers. Through impressive photo exhibitions and a varied cultural programme, the building aims to establish itself as an open cultural centre in the capital. A restaurant is also being planned. Fotografiska Berlin will be the fourth branch of the photography museum and joins the museums in Stockholm, New York and Tallinn.

In the venerable walls of a former brewery in Berlin-Neukölln, the KINDL - Centre for Contemporary Art unfolds a fascinating variety of installations, performances, paintings and other artistic forms of expression.
