A kingdom for children: the Anoha Children's Museum invites children to explore, discover and play. A paradise for children has developed in the former wholesale market hall opposite the main building of the Jewish Museum. The children's world Anoha is thematically based on the story of Noah's Ark from the Torah and offers young visitors around 2,700 square metres of space to explore, discover and play. Anoha is designed for children between the ages of three and ten and is a hands-on museum geared towards playful and interactive visits. The eye-catcher and centrepiece of the exhibition in the children's museum is an imposing, round wooden ark surrounded by 150 animal sculptures that children can touch, stroke and even feed. But the real protagonists are the young visitors themselves. They can explore the museum in a playful way and take the helm. At the same time, they can think about how to treat people, nature and animals with respect and how to use resources sustainably. Various play stations invite one or more children to tackle exciting tasks, be it building their own ark and completing a water course, redesigning the future or composing a water concerto.
